"It is the DVD-ROM that transforms a user into Alice in Wonderland" - New York Times

Valerie Gladstone, reviewing Joseph Cornell: Shadowplay...Eterniday for the New York Times on 2nd November 2003, described the DVD-ROM as transforming the user into "Alice in Wonderland". She went on to explain "...it gives viewers the opportunity to explore Cornell's universe through three- dimensional photographs of more than 250 of his boxes and collages."

Explaining the thoughts behind the DVD-ROM, The Magical Worlds of Joseph Cornell, she quoted Rory Matthews, the lead designer for the project, saying "The disk features audio essays, films, and lots of other good resource material. But, it's also playful."
